HCMC – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced that owing to Typhoon Prapiroon lashing the Korean Peninsula, the airline would reschedule all July 3 flights to and from Busan International Airport in South Korea and Fukuoka Airport in Japan to ensure safety for passengers.

Vietnam Airlines will cancel four Hanoi/HCMC-Busan air services---VN426, VN427, VN422 and VN423---scheduled for July 3 and flights VN356 and VN357, traveling between Hanoi City and Fukuoka City in Japan on July 3.

The carrier will have a plan to reschedule flights from Vietnam to Busan on the evening of July 3 and from Busan to Vietnam on the morning of July 4. Vietnam Airlines will also replace Airbus A330s with A350s, providing more seats to carry affected passengers.

As for flights to and from Fukuoka Airport, Vietnam Airlines will adjust flights on July 4.

Passengers will be offered a free conversion from flights affected by Typhoon Prapiroon to other flights.

Besides this, the airline proposed passengers planning to travel by air to or from the Busan and Fukuoka airports should stay updated on storm information and the carrier’s flight arrangements.
